¡Viva La Quinta!

Help make La Quinta Apartments a historic landmark

Preserve Our Landmarks

La Quinta Apartments has been a feature and fixture of Capitol Hill since 1927, but its future is less certain. Please help preserve this unique Spanish Eclectic style building, its hidden jewel of a courtyard, and the vibrant, inclusive community that the building has created and inspired for nearly a century.

Support the La Quinta historic landmark nomination.

"As Fred Anhalt’s earliest courtyard apartment complex, La Quinta is pivotal to understanding the evolution and increasing sophistication of his progressive 'apartment-home' concept. Its individual entries, two-story plans, and tranquil courtyard access, made dense city-living palatable and maintenance free for an expanding middle class."

Lawrence Kreisman, Honorary AIA Seattle, author, “Apartments by Anhalt,” City of Seattle, 1978.
